This video, directed and filmed by Christian Schmid featuring skysurfer Oliver Furrer, is available in NTSC or PAL format and comes with an instructional book which is available in English or German.

The instructional booklet is divided into five sections. In section 1 for beginners, prerequisite freestyle maneuvers, safety, equipment, jumpsuits, and techniques for performing the first sky surfing jumps. The second section for intermediate level covers tips, exit techniques and intermediate level skysurfing maneuvers. In the advanced section, section 3, choreography, teamwork, training techniques, advanced maneuvers and more are described. Section 4 covers camera flying techniques including helmet design, choice of cameras and lenses, focusing, and jumpsuits. Section 5 includes a copy of the FAI Competition Rules for Skysurfing 1998.

Communicating in the most universal language of images and set to music, the video is designed for viewers of all languages. During the entertainment introduction of the video, Oliver demonstrates some of his hottest skysurfing jumps and moves. You also get to see clips of the camera flying techniques that Christian uses to film Oliver. The instructional section of the video shows demonstrations of freestyle basics necessary for skysurfing, detailed views of skysurfing equipment and its operation, and more. The video is divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced sections. Slow motion video clips allow you to study aspects of skysurfing, such as exits, stability recovery techniques, precision skysurfing maneuvers, deployment body positions, etc., in close detail. The video also includes 2-way skysurfing and skysurfing with a freestylist. Compulsory sequences from 1996/97 and the 1998/99 world competition rules are included for study at real life speed and in slow motion. Creative routines, along with examples of teamwork, set to music will inspire your choreography.

The Easy Skydive CD-ROM is available separately and allows instant random access to all the educational material in the Easy Skydive Skysurfing program. CD-ROM users can choose English or German as the language. The CD-ROM includes numerous slow motion video clips.
